Emperador Distillers, Inc. (EDI) is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of COMPANY NURSE.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be a graduate of BS in Nursing.
  • Preferably a Licensed Nurse(RN), but candidates without licensure can also be considered.
  • Highly organized and efficient in handling various tasks and activities.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides care and treatment to employees such as first-aid treatment, checking of vital signs, health interview and dispensing of medicine.
  • Assist employees in availing company and statutory medical benefits.
  • Assess and determines the health status of the employee which includes recommendations like sent home or back to work.
  • Prepare requisition and conducts monthly inventory of medicines and medical supplies every month to ensure availability at all times.
  • Conducts home visits or follow through of employees with chronic illnesses or prolong sick leave.
  • Refers/transports ill employees to the nearest hospital as necessary in case of emergency.
  • Perform health counseling together with the company physician.
  • Conducts plant wide risk assessment to determine any possible health hazards and implements health educational programs to employees.
  • Maintains employee's individual medical records with strict confidentiality.
  • Generates reports and submits to EHS Section for submission to government agencies such as Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
  • Coordinates any work-related injuries/illnesses to EHS Compliance Officer for immediate investigation and corrective actions.
  • Schedules employee's Annual Physical Examination (APE), drug testing, etc.
  • Performs other duties and tasks that may be assigned from time to time that support company and team objectives.
