An On-site Nurse, also known as an occupational health nurse works in industry on a shifting schedule with 24hour operation. Works to maintain a healthy and productive work environment. Helps to promote a healthy lifestyle and proper work-home balance for employees. Responsible to provide education and training programs about wellness, ways to avoid injury at work.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Give first aid treatments and proper medications to employees as needed.

  2. Observe and record the symptoms and condition of a patient.

  3. In case of any accident, accompany the injured employee to the nearest hospital.

  4. Maintain medical and other related records of all employees.

  5. Examine and make sure that the sick employees submit medical certificate.

  6. Go through diagnostic test results and medical certificates to determine results.

  7. Organize regular medical examinations of all employees.

  8. Conduct health assessments periodically.

  9. Educate patients on wellness programs and benefits available to them, and help them connect with needed care.

  10. Monitor absence patterns especially AWOL and visit employee home if needed.

  11. Answers employees queries for their medical benefits and other concerns with their employment with the company.

  12. Perform any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the management or the company doctor.

  13. Prepared and coordinates all necessary forms, reports and documents to filled up and submitted to the clients (Weekly summary sickness reports, Number of employees who suffered injuries at work per month, Annual summary of sickness and work-related accident report)
