Key Duties and Responsibilities1. Team Oversight and Management:

  • Oversee and manage the activities of the project team, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor daily completion of tasks by team members and ensure timely submission of accomplishment reports.
  • Delegate and control tasks among personnel, maintaining accountability and performance standards.

2. Project Planning and Execution:

  • Perform detailed project planning, organizing, and scheduling to ensure smooth execution.
  • Analyze each project thoroughly to anticipate potential issues and create contingency plans.
  • Delegate tasks effectively while maintaining oversight of project progress.

3. Project Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule, including administrative tasks and site activities.
  • Create and submit Project Monitoring Reports to Operations, Accounting, Sales, and Account Managers to support billing and collection processes.
  • Submit daily progress reports to the Operations Manager.

4. Coordination and Communication:

  • Attend project coordination meetings with clients, contractors, architects, and engineers.
  • Provide feedback, updates, and reports on meeting discussions and outcomes.
  • Communicate additional requirements or special instructions to relevant departments (Sales, Operations, etc.).

5. Documentation and Analysis:

  • Participate in updating and generating accurate as-built documents for completed projects.
  • Maintain detailed records of project milestones, progress, and changes.

6. Additional Responsibilities:

  • Address and resolve site issues promptly to avoid delays.
  • Assist in ensuring that all installations adhere to quality standards and client requirements.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager or higher management.

This role combines leadership, technical expertise, and organizational skills to ensure the successful completion of system office and home furniture projects.

Qualifications for a Project Manager (System Office and Home Furniture)

  • Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the office system or home furniture industry.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with hands-on experience in site installations and project coordination.
  • Skills:
  • Strong project planning, scheduling, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and design tools (e.g., AutoCAD).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Time management and multitasking capabilities to meet project deadlines.
  • Knowledge:
  • Understanding of furniture systems, layouts, and installation processes.
  • Familiarity with construction methods, safety regulations, and building codes.
  • Ability to interpret architectural and engineering plans.
  • Personal Attributes:
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to foresee potential challenges.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in managing dynamic project requirements.

Job Type: Full-time
