The Custodian is responsible for the safekeeping, cleaning, inventory, and maintenance coordination of technical equipment used for studio, film, television, and live event productions. This role ensures that all stored equipment is well-maintained, accurately inventoried, and in proper working condition before and after deployment.

Responsibilities

Equipment Inventory & Storage

· Maintain an updated record of all technical equipment stored in the warehouse.

· Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in preparing inventory reports.

· Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and organized storage of all equipment and accessories.

· Track incoming and outgoing equipment and report discrepancies or losses immediately.

Equipment Cleaning & Maintenance

· Clean, dust, and sanitize lighting, grip, sound, and video equipment before and after deployment.

· Identify damaged or malfunctioning items and coordinate repair or replacement needs.

· Assist in basic maintenance tasks such as cable organization, component tightening, and simple troubleshooting.

· Ensure that repaired items are properly logged and returned to inventory.

Equipment Issuance & Receiving

· Assist in issuing equipment for deployment and receiving returned items.

· Verify completeness of returned sets and ensure proper documentation of missing or damaged items.

· Coordinate with the Technical Equipment Caretaker team to prepare deployment-ready sets.

Safety & Housekeeping

· Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the storage and maintenance areas.

· Follow warehouse safety protocols in handling and storing equipment.

· Ensure pathways and storage zones are free from hazards and clutter.

Reporting & Coordination

· Report damaged or missing items to the immediate supervisor.

· Coordinate with the Deployment Coordinator and Technical Equipment Caretakers regarding equipment needs or issues.

· Maintain documentation for inventory, cleaning schedules, and repair logs.

Abilities & Qualifications

· Attention to detail and strong sense of organization.

· Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records.

· Physically fit to lift and carry equipment (up to 30–40 kilos).

· Basic understanding of technical equipment used in production (grip, lighting, sound, video).

· Computer literate for inventory recording and documentation.

· Willing to undergo safety or equipment maintenance training.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php695.00 per day
