Warehouse Supervisor

SCOPE and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Warehouse Operations and Inventory Management:

• Develop and implement robust inventory management processes to maintain accuracy and minimize discrepancies.

• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks, analyzing variances, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future issues.

• Ensure proper handling, storage, and preservation of raw materials and finished goods to maintain their quality and readiness for use or dispatch.

• Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping activities.

• Ensure efficient use and maintenance of the Warehouse Management System (WMS), optimizing processes for inventory tracking, space utilization, and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure the timely receipt and availability of raw materials, components, and finished goods.

• Review and manage the warehouse extension process, ensuring all forms and daily monitoring reports are accurately completed and approved in a timely manner.

• Implement and enforce warehouse safety regulations, ensuring compliance with company policies and local safety standards.

• Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and training sessions to foster a culture of safety and prevent workplace accidents.

• Address safety concerns promptly, leading investigations and corrective actions for any incidents or near misses.

• Prepare and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, operational performance, and personnel activities.

• Provide regular updates to management on warehouse performance, challenges, and improvement initiatives.

• Attend and actively participate in regular and emergency meetings to discuss operational updates, address concerns, and coordinate with other departments.

• Foster strong communication channels between the warehouse team and other departments to ensure seamless coordination of activities.

Team Leadership and People Management

• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse personnel, fostering a high-performing team that is motivated and engaged.

• Assign daily tasks and monitor workloads to ensure efficient use of resources and timely completion of operational goals.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and identifying opportunities for training and development.

• Address personnel issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions, in accordance with company policies.

Project Management

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.

• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies, integrating relevant advancements to optimize warehouse operations.

• Participate in cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving overall supply chain performance.

Other Related Tasks

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the PCP team and ensure efficient operations.

• Assist with special projects or initiatives related to PCP team as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field., MA or MBA is a Plus

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in a supervisory role.

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.

• Proven track record in leading and managing teams, including performance evaluation, task delegation, and team development.

• Hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining safety compliance and warehouse safety regulations.

• Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize warehouse workflows, including receiving, storage, and dispatching operations.

• Experience in conducting regular inventory checks and audits, ensuring shipment accuracy and proper documentation.

• Background in handling warehouse improvement projects, including process enhancements, system upgrades, and efficiency initiatives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php35,000.00 per month
