About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Recruitment Assistant located in Pasay. The Recruitment Assistant will be responsible for supporting the hiring process for seafarers, scheduling & conducting initial interviews, and assisting with administrative tasks. The role includes maintaining and updating candidate records, coordinating with the Manning & Training Department, and providing excellent customer service to both applicants and internal staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in posting job openings on various platforms, including Facebook Groups and the company website.
- Screen resumes and applications to shortlist qualified candidates.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate with candidates and interviewers.
- Maintain and update applicant tracking systems and recruitment databases.
- Communicate with candidates regarding application status and interview logistics.
- Prepare recruitment reports and documentation as needed.
- Support onboarding activities such as document collection and orientation scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws throughout the recruitment process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field.
- Previous experience in recruitment or HR support is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
