Schedule: Monday–Friday (Day Shift); may occasionally extend during enrollment or school events

Job Summary

MFI Polytechnic Institute Inc. is seeking a dedicated and hands-on Electrical Teacher to deliver classroom and laboratory-based training in electrical installation, maintenance, and industrial control systems.

The role focuses on developing students' practical competencies and solid theoretical foundations to prepare them for employment in the electrical trade and related industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons and hands-on sessions in electrical installation and maintenance.
• Teach electrical principles, safety standards, and workshop practices aligned with TESDA competency-based standards.
• Supervise, assess, and guide students' skill development and performance.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and well-equipped laboratory and classroom environment.
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessment tools.
• Keep student attendance, grades, and performance records updated and accurate.
• Participate in faculty meetings, training, and professional development sessions.
• Support program promotion and accompany students on industry visits or field work as needed.

Qualifications

Must-have:

• TESDA National Certificate (NC II/III/IV) in Electrical Installation & Maintenance or related field.
• TM I (Trainers Methodology Level I) issued by TESDA.
• Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or related fields.
• Strong communication, instructional, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work on-site at MFI Ortigas, Pasig City.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related course.
• Previous teaching or training experience in a vocational or technical setting.
• Familiarity with industrial automation and electrical safety regulations.

Working Conditions

• Based at MFI Ortigas, Pasig Campus (landmark: The Medical City).
• Combination of workshop and classroom instruction.
• May require occasional field work or industry visits.
• Regular working hours, with possible overtime during enrollment or special events.
