Location: MFI Building, Ortigas, Pasig City (Landmark: The Medical City)

Employment type: Full-time, On-site

Schedule: Monday–Friday (day shift); occasional OT during enrollment or events

Job Summary

We are looking for an Automotive Teacher to deliver classroom and workshop-based instruction in automotive servicing, diagnostics, and repair. The role emphasizes hands-on skills, safety, and industry-aligned training to prepare students for employment in the automotive service sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach fundamentals of automotive servicing: engine systems, brakes, suspension, steering, drivetrain, and electrical/electronic systems.
  • Train students in the use of diagnostic tools, testing instruments, and service manuals.
  • Guide learners in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair practices.
  • Prepare and deliver competency-based lessons, demonstrations, and assessments.
  • Apply workshop safety standards and ensure proper use of tools and PPE.
  • Maintain training vehicles, tools, and equipment in safe working condition.
  • Mentor students in work ethics, teamwork, and technical accuracy.

Qualifications

Must-have

  • At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience in automotive servicing, diagnostics, or repair.
  • Strong practical and teaching skills; ability to simplify technical concepts.
  • Familiarity with workshop safety standards and automotive servicing procedures.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Pasig.

Preferred

  • Graduate of Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related course.
  • Prior teaching or training experience.
  • Familiarity with hybrid/electric vehicle servicing is an advantage.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of automotive standards and new technologies.

Working Conditions

  • Classroom and workshop environment at MFI Ortigas, Pasig.
  • May require occasional overtime or support for special projects.
