Mandaluyong Central Post Office, Philippines Lhoopa Inc. Full time ₱240,000 - ₱300,000 per year

Mainly support the Construction team with the information and plans needed to execute projects in time and within the allocated budget. This includes cost estimation, aid in the preparation of general schedule, coordination of site visits, evaluation of properties, and other pre-construction activities.

Responsibilities

Planning

  • Work with the Acquisition team in estimating/assessing cost of property for purchase.
  • Coordinate with contractor assessor during ocular inspection of units.
  • Gather contractor initial evaluation, upload to the system and adjust cost as needed.
  • Prepare and verify plans, design and estimates.

Contracts Review

  • Assist the Lead Engineer on the preparation of the construction schedule.
  • Prepare and process contract agreements.

Contractor Relations

  • Recruit & accredit contractors based on requirement.

Others

  • Provide assistance to team members in the department if needed.
  • Other tasks may be assigned by the management from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • Must be Licensed Geodetic Engineer
  • Graduate of Bachelor's Degree - Geodetic Engineering
  • At least 1 year experience in conducting actual property/lot survey
  • Conducted site inspections and technical evaluations to validate design feasibility and preconstruction requirements
  • Assisted in preparation of documents for building permits, site development permits, and other LGU requirements
  • Coordinated with design professionals to resolve technical issues prior to commencement of construction
  • Prepared technical reports and construction documentation for preconstruction submittals and proposals
  • Assisted in preparing electrical load schedules, panel board layouts, and single line diagrams
  • Participated in site inspections for conduit installation, wiring, and rough in works for residential projects
  • Prepared electrical drawings, layout plans and estimate
  • Familiarized with Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and local permitting processes

Knowledge:

  • Site evaluation and feasibility studies
  • Familiarity with shop drawings, specifications and construction documents
  • Coordination of preconstruction work with surveyors, geotechnical engineers, and utility providers
  • Familiarity with project timelines, preconstruction schedules and work sequencing
  • Basic knowledge in land development activities such as grading, excavation, and utility layout
  • Knowledge in comparing subcontractor technical submittals
