Job Description

As a Risk & Payments Team Manager - BetMGM you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Risk & Payments Operations teams while ensuring qualitative and quantitative performance is in line with the service level agreement.

Reporting to the Risk & Payments Operations Manager and you will be part of the Risk & Payments Team, who will directly supervise and develop the Risk & Payments team through coaching, 1:1s, performance appraisals, and clear communication.

What you will do

• Provide expert knowledge on fraud, payments, and chargebacks; ensure compliance with Gambling Regulations, PCI standards, and AML guidelines.
• Lead daily, weekly, and monthly reporting with accurate data; monitor SLAs, KPIs, and escalate issues or trends proactively.
• Oversee process creation, review, and implementation; understand automated verification systems and identify faults.
• Conduct regular reviews of third-party tools and ensure their continued suitability and performance.
• Act as a key escalation point and maintain transparent communication with leadership and external partners.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates strong leadership by fostering a culture of continuous improvement, setting clear goals, and driving team motivation and compliance.
• Strong decision-making, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills and can work with minimum supervision.
• Minimum experience of 3 years managing risk, payments, and or chargeback experience in ecommerce or online gaming industry with at least a year of experience leading a team.
• Strong knowledge of Risk, Payments, and Chargeback procedures and regulatory best practices.
• Proficient in statistical reporting, analysis, and strong knowledge in Payments/PSP systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
