About the role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our dynamic team at Manila Water Company, Inc. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the efficient and effective operation of our warehouse located in Antipolo City, Rizal.

What you'll be doing


•Inspects warehouses for strict compliance with the standards in materials handling and storage.


•Coordinates with Engineering Standards and with suppliers on the appropriate methods to protect and preserve the quality of materials in the warehouse.


•Recommends the procurement of the needed protection/covering of materials in the stockyard that are exposed to the elements.


•Leads the periodic monitoring of the quality condition of materials in the warehouses and comes up with a mitigation plan for materials exhibiting deterioration in quality.


•Reviews the list of materials to be subjected to quality monitoring.


•Reviews Terms of Reference for the refurbishment of material in the warehouse that is found with slight deterioration to put it back to good condition.


•Checks the Warehouse Service Provider for consistent physical tracking of materials nearing re-order level and for prompt reporting to the Materials Managers.


•Reviews warehouse capacity per pallet position to ensure equitable space allocation per material.


•Supervises the deployment of contingency materials based on requirements per quadrant.


•Analyzes the ageing of materials in SAP-MM against physical arrangement to facilitate FIFO method in storage and issuance.


•Facilitates the stock transfer of materials to augment/ ensure availability per plant


•Reviews randomly warehouse transaction documents to ensure the correctness of records in SAP-MM.


•Oversees cycle counts and periodic physical counts conducted by the warehouse service provider.


•Carries out complete, accurate, and timely reports for inventory analytics as tool for decision-making.


•Conducts periodic meetings with Security and Service Provider to ensure that the warehouse facilities are safe and secure to prevent pilferage of materials.


•Checks compliance with safety measures on materials stacking, arrangements, picking, and hauling.


•Analyzes pain points in SAP-MM and raises the need for enhancement with IT.


•Collaborates with IT for the implementation of system enhancement projects in SAP-MM


•Conducts tests for SAP-MM Enhancements and discusses with the Project Manager the observations and recommendations.


•Coaches the Warehouse Service Provider on system changes to ensure correct implementation.


•Reviews and updates the SAP-MM Manual to serve as a guide in using the system.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • At least 2 years of experience in inventory or warehouse management (preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience using SAP-MM is an advantage
