Job Summary:

The company secures and automates escrow-backed payments for independent professionals worldwide. We have proven traction with global freelancers and are concurrently localising for Australia while opening additional verticals. Marketing is still founder-led—your mandate is to own and scale acquisition and retention across every viable channel.

Your Mission:

Design, execute, and optimise a multi-channel growth strategy that:

  • Establishes awareness of the brand amongst key target audiences through specific and targeted campaigns as measured by social media engagement, website traffic and time on page.
  • Drives qualified sign-ups and triple month on month while keeping CAC flat or falling.
  • Compresses activation-to-first-payment from day 7 to day 1 for service provider users

You choose the tactics; we supply resources and fast decision loops. If you know a

better tool, pitch it—we're flexible.

Key Objectives and Deliverables:

  1. Awareness & Acquisition through:

    Paid channels including SEM, Tik Tok, Google/YouTube, Instagram, Reddit and LinkedIn. Generate strong top of funnel traffic to website and drive conversion to sign up through re-targeting. Responsible for creating content and building ads
  2. Activation and Onboarding through personalized email content. Build segmented onboarding, email flows and in-app nudges that improve time-to-first-payment, product upgrade and more.
  3. Collaboration & Reporting to assess performance, optimize campaigns based on data, identify new audience or creative opportunities. Own dashboards and deliver weekly insights to the founder using tools such as GA4, Looker Studio, and Microsoft Clarity.

Outcomes, Not Task Lists:

  • Launch social media and search acquisition experiments with clear hypotheses, KPIs, and budget.
  • Ship the first set of onboarding flows.
  • Stand up a repeatable content calendar for videos, posts, and emails.
  • Build a single source of truth for funnel metrics to assess performance.

Ideal Profile:

  • 4–6 years in growth or digital marketing with measurable wins across acquisition and retention, with a focus on the latter
  • Mastery of paid & organic acquisition and lifecycle email
  • Comfortable owning budgets, creative, copy, and tooling end-to-end
  • Proactive, creative, analytical—able to pivot from strategy to hands-on execution in minutes
  • Fluent with (or quick to learn) Brevo/Zoho, TikTok Ads, Meta/Google Ads, Canva, Figma, cap cut, ClickUp, Slack, GA4 (If you know a better tool, pitch it—we're flexible.)
  • Fintech, SaaS, or marketplace experience. Bonus point for Startup experience
