About the role

DKT CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION is seeking a talented and experienced Project Engineer to join our team in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. What you'll be doing

  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, to address issues and resolve conflicts
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the management team
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures to optimise project budgets
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation, such as progress reports, change orders, and as-built drawings
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project management principles
  • Proficient in the use of project management software and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
