The Offshore Database Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's database systems to ensure their reliability, security, and performance. This role involves handling day-to-day database administration and Business-As-Usual (BAU) activities, troubleshooting and resolving database issues (break/fix), performing upgrades and maintenance, and managing backups to safeguard data integrity.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in database management, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with onshore teams to support the company's IT infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of database systems that underpin the company's business processes.

Requirements

•Expertise in database administration, including performance tuning, optimization, and monitoring.

•Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve database-related issues efficiently.

•Experience in planning and executing upgrades, maintenance, and backup activities.

•Proficiency in managing BAU operations for database systems.

•Clear communication skills to interact with stakeholders and document processes effectively.

•Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to address challenges and align on processes.
