Responsible for developing and growing sales and market share for the company's products by

  • Influencing key decision makers such as architects, project owners, general contractors, sub-contractors, and installers to specify, approve and use SG products and systems in major building and infra-structure projects

Build a strong brand position to ensure profitable and sustainable business, maximizing our brand awareness.

PROJECTS

  1. Identify potential customers and key building and infra projects and generates leads for the organization.
  2. Build SG brand equity and cultivates strong business relationships with architects, project owners, general contractors, sub-contractors and installers by
    1. Ensuring a comprehensive communication of the features, benefits, value propositions and relevant technical know-how regarding the use and application of SG products and systems with a view to achieving successful penetration of our products
    2. Providing technical training on SG products and systems.
    3. Providing on-site support and audit on the proper installation of SG products and systems.
    4. Providing quality after sales service and advice.
  3. Coordinate with the specifications team to ensure that tracking of specified projects are properly turned over for sales conversion.
  4. Collaborate with SG products Distributors to ensure project specifications and approvals are converted to sales of SG products and systems.

OTHER

  1. Ensure full compliance with the up-to-date reporting requirements of management.
    1. Detailed and accurate recording of activities including weekly call plans, visit reports, and details of agreements made with customers.
    2. Proper tracking and monitoring of relevant projects and product packages in the key targeted construction market sectors.
    3. Timely preparation of monthly performance reports and other ad-hoc reports that may be required.
  2. Provide training and technical support to SG Distributors on SG products and systems.
  3. Monitor, analyze and provide management with all relevant market and competitive information (including but not limited to existing applications, methods and any regulatory or legal requirements relating to SG products and systems or the building industry and infra-structure projects in general, competitors selling prices and selling techniques, etc.).
  4. Advise management of any opportunities for New Product Development and/or opportunities for the provision of new systems and services to SG Customers.
  5. Advise management of any changes in local industry requirements and highlight opportunities for New Product Development and/or opportunities for the provision of new systems and services to SG Customers.
  6. Ensure his/her personal safety and the safety of others accompanying him/her on SG business, particularly when driving and when visiting hazardous areas. Have readily available at all times employee's own PPE including hard hat, safety shoes, hi-vis vest/jacket and safety glasses.
  7. Any other ad hoc activities that may be required by management.
