Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or comparable discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a general accounting function
  • Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Working knowledge of Workday Financial Management software (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Blackline software, specifically modules for journal entries and reconciliations (preferred)
  • Proficient in the use of EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) application (preferred)

Job Description:

  • Primary support for Accounting Supervisor and staff in month-end closes and account analysis. Responsible for preparation of detail account analysis, journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, account roll-forwards, budget vs. actual analysis, system balancing, and all other tasks required to close month-end on a timely basis and maintain G/L account integrity.
  • Communicate unusual or prior period activity that materially impacts the financials to supervisor timely.
  • Prepare month-end reports for distribution to internal and external parties for assigned areas as requested.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations with proper support and resolve reconciling items within 90 days.
  • Prepare daily and monthly cash reconciliation, identify and maintain variances, collaborate with 3rd parties to resolve issues.
  • Balance AR subsystem to GL daily and resolve variances timely with supervisor
  • Primary support for Accounting Supervisor in financial statement audits, including preparation of detail audit schedules (monthly and at year-end) and analysis in accordance with the established time frames determined by Supervisor.
  • Actively collaborate with stateside entity and market teams regarding monthly accruals and upcoming transactions
  • Must be able to demonstrate and communicate active knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in daily execution of accounting functions and tasks.
  • Ability to engage and communicate with operating managers where appropriate in gathering, reporting and explaining substance of business transactions as it relates to the analysis within their work plan.

  • Max 3 months working onsite in BGC Taguig for training
  • Hybrid set up 3x a week onsite
