
Human Resource Intern

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our Human Resources team with a primary focus on recruitment activities. This internship provides hands-on experience in talent acquisition, candidate sourcing, and recruitment processes while supporting the overall HR function. The ideal candidate will gain valuable exposure to modern recruitment practices and contribute meaningfully to our talent acquisition efforts.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Assist in posting job openings across various job boards, company website, and social media platforms
- Source potential candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, university career centers, and professional networks
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates based on established criteria
- Conduct initial phone screenings and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers
- Maintain and update candidate databases and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Support recruitment events, job fairs, and campus recruiting initiatives
- Draft recruitment communications including rejection letters and interview confirmation emails
- Prepare interview materials and candidate packets for hiring managers
- Assist with reference checks and background verification processes
- Update job descriptions and ensure compliance with current requirements
- Create recruitment reports and track key hiring metrics
- Support onboarding activities for new hires
- Maintain confidential personnel files and documentation
- Research industry salary benchmarks and compensation trends
- Analyze recruitment data to identify areas for process improvement
- Assist in developing recruitment strategies for hard-to-fill positions
- Research new sourcing techniques and recruitment technologies
- Currently enrolled in Bachelor's degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous internship or work experience in HR, recruiting, or customer service
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR information systems
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter or other professional networking platforms
- Knowledge of employment law basics and EEO compliance
- Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition
- Comfortable learning new software and technology platforms
- Basic understanding of social media platforms for recruitment purposes
- Ability to conduct video interviews and virtual recruitment activities
- Hands-on experience in full-cycle recruitment processes
- Exposure to various HR functions and best practices
- Professional development and networking opportunities

- Understanding of employment law and compliance requirements
- Experience with modern recruitment tools and technologies
- Duration: 3-6 months (with possibility of extension)
- Schedule: Part-time hours/week) or Full-time (40 hours/week)
