SEO Specialist

The SEO Specialist supports organic growth by identifying opportunities through keyword research, search intent analysis, and content optimization. This role contributes to SEO and product strategies by uncovering market gaps, guiding content development, and ensuring alignment between user needs and business goals. You'll work closely with SEO researchers, content teams, and technical specialists to develop data-driven ideas from the ground up and influence the overall direction of SEO initiatives.

The position plays a key role in planning, creating, and optimizing high-quality, relevant content that performs well in search and delivers value to users. Responsibilities include collaborating with internal teams and external contributors, shaping content strategies, and continuously refining content based on performance insights. What you will do:

• Perform ongoing keyword research to optimize existing content and identify new growth opportunities
• Conduct competitor research and gap analysis to inform content and category improvements
• Provide data-driven recommendations for content, landing page, and category optimizations
• Track, analyze, and report on key SEO metrics including rankings, traffic, and conversions
• Translate keyword and performance insights into clear guidance for SEO, content, design, and other stakeholders
• Coordinate SEO content projects with writers, designers, and internal teams, both in-house and external
• Champion SEO content requirements for landing pages and support timely launches across organic platforms
• Manage communication around publishing timelines, creative briefs, and follow-ups across teams
• Support quarterly initiatives and special projects to help achieve SEO and content team goals

Who you are:

• Basic to intermediate understanding and hands-on experience in SEO keyword research, content writing, and content marketing
• Strong grasp of the English language, with the ability to write clearly and effectively in both structured and creative styles
• Experience in web content writing, copywriting, and copy editing; local and international writing experience is a plus
• Ability to understand, analyze, and differentiate between different types of user intent
• Capable of creating SEO optimization strategies and actionable recommendations based on research and performance insights
• Familiarity with SEO research and reporting; experience with SEO tools is preferred but not required
• Strong eye for detail to catch typos, grammatical issues, and content nuances
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Enjoys coordinating projects and sharing relevant information across multiple teams and stakeholders
• Previous background in SEO, content, or project management is preferred but not required; open to applicants eager to learn on the job
• Passion for creativity and design is a strong plus
• Willing to work in a hybrid setup
• Will be endorsed for either the SEO Keyword Researcher or SEO Content Uploader role, based on skills and strengths
