Our client is an Australian graphic design platform that is used to create social media graphics and presentations. The app includes readymade templates for users to use. Their platform is a go-to place for all design needs on the web.

We are looking for a Junior SEO Specialist whose mission is to improve the SEO performance of our clients' pages and support their growth across all current and upcoming platforms. This role focuses on Technical SEO optimization, working closely with the wider SEO team to enhance website architecture, content structure, and internal linking.

The Junior Technical SEO will contribute by conducting audits, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting large-scale initiatives aligned with overall team goals.

What you will do:

  • Provide ideas on how to grow our SEO performance for a variety of key projects, including landing pages and marketplaces
  • Find opportunities to improve our pages
  • Fix issues that affect our organic performance
  • Conduct keyword research for key product verticals
  • Conduct a detailed review of current site architecture and produce recommendations on optimisations to generate strong SEO performance.
  • Review current template categorisation and build out a new categorisation framework
  • Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis
  • Review and optimise template pages and category pages to run on-page optimisation.
  • Monitoring organic performance on a weekly basis and address any technical issues with the WP developer and GM.
  • Conduct 1 backlink audit every month to remove toxic links with recommendations on new.
  • Will upload and organise content within wordpress.

Who you are:

  • Intermediate to advanced understanding and work experience in technical SEO
  • A passion to work on large-scale websites
  • You have experience in SEO and CRO, having worked with major websites as part of a team
  • Has experience working in cross-functional teams in a hyper-growth environment
  • Comfortable with setting up, actioning and reporting on CRO experiments
  • Highly competent using tools and tech including Wordpress, Ahrefs, SEMRush Optimizely, GA, GSC and Hotjar
  • Can interpret data and provide actionable insights to guide your decision making
  • You are familiar with
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Willing to work on a hybrid set up
