Job Summary

The Test Engineering Head is responsible for assisting the Operations Manager in planning, organizing, staffing, leading and controlling all the activities of Test Engineering section to produce products and services according to company standard on productivity and quality, and in conformance with customer specifications and delivery schedule, at minimum cost.

Ensures consistent implementation of Standard Operating Procedures, customer instruction, test requirements and other test specification. Ensures compliance to company policies, and the quality standards.

Monitors daily performance of Test Engineers, reviews and improves test equipment, and all other support facilities in the line related to test engineering.

Performs test and equipment evaluations for prospective customers and provide inputs to top management for preparations of quotations and other related cost estimates.

Conducts regular meeting with Test Engineers to review performance against BSC targets and test standard.

Keeps abreast with technology advances and new trends to upgrade test equipments for new projects and technical knowledge on latest test technology.

Trains Test Engineers on the correct analysis, method of troubleshooting and repair of equipment.

Ensures that all preventive measures, machine conversions, calibration check and other maintenance activities concerning test machines are done according to specifications.

Ensures that ESD protections are in place on all test equipments and test areas,
