Radiologic Technologist

About the role

RadLink Philippines Corporation is seeking a talented and motivated Radiologic Technologist that performs diagnostic imaging examinations using X-rays and other imaging modalities to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. The role is primarily responsible for the efficient operation and proper maintenance of the center's imaging department. The Radtech works closely with the Clinic Manager, Senior Nurse Manager and Chief Radiologist in ensuring both operational and Clinical standards are consistently updated, reviewed, and complied. The role ensures high-quality imaging while prioritizing patient safety, comfort, and compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines.

What you'll be doing

• Ensures proper understanding of basic and advance concept and application of both uncomplicated and high end imaging modalities such as Xray, ultrasound, mammography and CT scan.
• Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures. Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring proper technique, safety and comfort.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment and ensure image quality meets diagnostic standards.
• Use radiation protection practices to minimize patient and staff exposure in accordance with ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles.
• Ensure procedures to clients, answering questions and addressing concerns to reduce anxiety.
• Verify patient identity and obtain relevant clinical information to assist in image interpretation.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic reports.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in the Plato system.
• Adhere to infection control protocols, DPA and diagnostic center policies.
• Secures consent for special test needed or as required by law.
• Ensures that all imaging supplies are complete and that all machines and equipment are maintained correctly. Monitor and report equipment malfunction and safety hazards
• Ensures delivery of remarkable and consistent client care and services at all times.
• Work with the clinic manager and the chief radiologist to coordinate any necessary special staff training, licenses, or other governmental requirements.
• Regularly updates the Clinic Administration and Chief Radiologist on any relevant bylaws and administrative order announced by DOH and FDA.
• Communicates departmental concerns and recommends resolution to the Clinic Manager and Chief Radiologist
• Ensures that calls and ALL of the communications are responded to timely and accurately.
• Handles client feedback constructively and ability to perform conflict resolution should be exercised.

Secondary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist the Clinic Manager with Corporate summary reports or any regulatory or compliance reporting whenever needed
• Ensure adherence to the policies, procedures, standards protocols in the organization.
• Participates in continuous quality improvement activities
• Performs any other additional duties as assigned by Clinic Manager and Chief Radiologist

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
• Current and valid license as a Radiologic Technologist
• Open to newly graduate
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in operating various medical imaging equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to follow strict protocols and procedures
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and maintaining the highest standards of safety and ethics

Minimum Certification

Philippine Board Regulatory Certification, Certification on Special Imaging Modalities such as Ultrasound, 2Decho, Mammo and CT Scan is a must.
