Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned, high-impact Digital Account Director with extensive advertising agency experience to lead our digital accounts and mentor our client services team. While the Senior Account Manager focuses on day-to-day impact and efficiency, the Digital Account Director is responsible for the overarching health, profitability, and long-term strategic evolution of their portfolio. You will act as a senior partner to the Account Directors and Strategy team, turning high-level business goals into scalable digital success stories.

Candidates must have a minimum of 5-7 years of advertising agency experience.

A minimum of 3-5 years of account management experience at Director level or above is required.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Client Partnership

  • Executive Advisory: Serve as the senior-most point of contact for clients, moving beyond day-to-day goals to advise on long-term digital growth and industry context.
  • Strategic Architecture: Lead the translation of complex marketing objectives into sophisticated, integrated campaign briefs that leverage deep audience insights and funnel behavior.
  • Partnership Growth: Build high-level trusted relationships that unlock enterprise-level opportunities and solidify the agency's role as a strategic lead.

Campaign Stewardship & Agency Experience

  • Cross-Departmental Synergy: Oversee the collaboration between Strategy, Creative, Media, and Production to ensure flawless execution across all touchpoints.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage production feasibility and high-level timelines, ensuring that Senior Account Managers hit milestones and solve escalations before they impact the client relationship.
  • Quality Benchmarking: Set the standard for QA of creative output and digital assets, ensuring strict adherence to platform best practices and brand consistency.

Commercial Growth & Financial Oversight

  • Profitability Management: Take full ownership of portfolio profitability, collaborating with Finance on complex scope alignment, billing, and CE preparations.
  • Organic Growth Strategy: Identify and pitch organic growth and upsell opportunities through regular, high-level business reviews.
  • Performance Accountability: Use tools like Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite to synthesize campaign results into actionable, C-suite-ready insights.
  • Analytics Expertise: Advanced insights experience with Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite is required to deliver strategic recommendations.

People & Culture Leadership

  • Leadership Mentorship: Mentor Senior Account Managers and Account Executives, modeling elite digital fluency and client service standards.
  • Operational Innovation: Champion the use of advanced project management platforms and help refine the agency's digital delivery playbooks.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of industry shifts and lead internal upskilling sessions to maintain the agency's competitive edge.
