Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, assist with financial reporting, and ensure accuracy in financial records. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow their career in accounting while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the accounting system.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and tax regulations.
  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies.
  • Perform general administrative and clerical support for the finance team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 0–2 years of accounting or finance experience (internship experience is a plus).
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
