The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for identifying, engaging, and generating new business opportunities to support the company's growth. This role focuses on prospecting, qualifying leads, nurturing relationships, and coordinating with the sales team to drive revenue. The BDR also assists in exploring potential partnership opportunities to expand market reach and strengthen business relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation:
    Identify and reach out to potential clients through calls, emails, and social media.
  • Lead Qualification:
    Evaluate inbound and outbound leads based on interest, business needs, fit, and budget.
  • Pipeline Support:
    Schedule discovery calls or meetings for the sales team and maintain updated records in the CRM.
  • Partnership Outreach:
    Identify and connect with potential partners to explore collaboration opportunities and support long-term business growth.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with Sales Managers to tailor messaging and ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities.
  • Market & Client Research:
    Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and client pain points to position solutions effectively.
  • Reporting:
    Track outreach metrics, lead conversions, and pipeline activities to support data-driven decisions.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum
    2 years of experience
    in business development, sales development, or B2B sales—preferably within BPO or service industries, with exposure to the
    Australia and/or New Zealand market
    .
  • At least
    1 year of experience in lead generation
    .
  • Experience in
    partnership outreach or relationship-building
    is an advantage.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; confident in high-volume outbound outreach.
  • Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and lead-tracking systems.
  • Goal-driven, proactive, adaptable, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
