Role: Finance Manager

Location: Batangas

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday; Midshift (Starts at 10:00 AM); Onsite.

Job Summary:

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company's overall financial management, reporting, and compliance functions. This role requires strong initiative, accountability, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. The successful candidate must come from a manufacturing background and demonstrate experience in leading financial operations, reporting for both local and international entities, and managing a finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor the finance team to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all financial processes.
  • Oversee and handle exempt benefits transactions and ensure proper documentation and compliance.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and profit and loss (P&L) functions to support business decision-making.
  • Prepare and present management committee (ManCom) reports for both the Philippines and the United States offices.
  • Supervise month-end closing activities in coordination with the finance team.
  • Handle banking transactions, fund management, and ensure accurate recording and reconciliation.
  • Oversee transactions in the ERP system (preferably Odoo or equivalent) to ensure data integrity and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with online taxation, accounting standards, and administrative requirements.
  • Manage PEZA filings and ensure accurate and timely submissions in coordination with regulatory bodies.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls and financial policies.
  • Drive process improvements and enhance reporting efficiency across all finance operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a finance management role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, and financial analysis.
  • Proven experience in ERP systems (preferably Odoo) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of PEZA regulations, taxation, and Philippine financial compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of coordinating with teams across global offices.
