  1. Dispenses drugs and medicines as prescribed the physicians.
  2. Guides the activities of the pharmacy aides.
  3. Requisitions medicines and medical supplies for stock replenishment.
  4. Certifies PHIC claims of patients as to the reasonableness of the medicine prices and the correctness of the amount charged.
  5. Issues receipts for the sales of medicines and other payments made by patients.
  6. Records prescriptions and other information (i.e. supplies issuance, charge slips, incom proof sheets of patients) in the appropriate manner, and checks authenticity of the sa records.
  7. Prepares required reports.
  8. Educates and gives instruction to patients on how to take the medicines.
  9. Reports adverse drug reactions to BFAD.
  10. Performs other related functions as may be assigned.
