You will be joining our high performing Knowledge Center Finance team in Cebu. Your Role You will be responsible in close co-operation with the KC Finance GL & Reporting Team Leader for performing and timely execution of tasks related to GL and Reporting. You will be responsible for performing day to day tasks, month end closing, as well as ensuring strict adherence to the Corporate Finance and Accounting Guidelines, policies, and standard procedures for an accurate financial reporting, safeguarding of assets, and timely submission of the financial reporting to Corporate Reporting. Your Responsibilities
  • Support with the review and management of corporate income tax declarations and related tax filings for ASP entities
  • Support with tax accounting (e.g. deferred tax assets & liabilities)
  • Monitor and maintain deferred tax asset/liability schedules
  • Prepare and reconcile tax provisions
  • Assist/support with tax computations for financial statements and analyzing differences between tax and accounting treatments
  • Help track and analyze tax losses carried forward and tax credits and support tax audits by providing documentation and analysis
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to ensure compliance with tax reporting obligations
  • Execute effective procedures to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial information
  • Identify control gaps, assess risks, and recommend control enhancements to mitigate potential control weaknesses in the Internal Control System (ICS),
  • Follow and adhere to Corporate Finance and Accounting Guidelines,
  • Ensuring that all accounting processes align with IFRS and Corporate Accounting and Finance Guidelines,
  • Tax computations to be finalized for legal entities in the year-end reporting packages,
  • Maintenance of tax and statutory books monthly via respective adjustment entries,
  • Assisting in the implementation of reconciliation of IC transactions for transfer pricing process for the countries in scope
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics / Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics
  • Qualification at respective country CPA, ACCA, CIA is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant Accounting and Reporting working experience in a multinational organization
    Excel advanced skills
  • Knowledge of office-based IT tools
  • Ability to work independently
  • Presentation, Interpersonal, planning and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills, proactive approach
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Knowledge of local tax regulations, and IFRS
  • Flexible to travel
  • Flexible to work after hours when required
