Accounting Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Maintaining of Accounts Payable and Disbursement vouchers, check preparation and release
- Handles SSS/Pagibig/Philhealth Contributions and Loans of employees
- Preparing of tax compliant reports eg. filing of monthly compensation, filing of monthly/quarterly expanded with alpha list, vat filing
- Assisting during year end and special audits
- Preparing Loose leaf books of accounts and all other year end filings
- Other areas including but not limited to document verification, data entry, filing of vouchers and administrative assistance like updating of bank forms
- Other tasks the Accounting Head may assign
Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management or equivalent.
- At least 1 year experience in the same field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
