CAD Drafter & Quantity Surveyor (Interior Design in Corporate & Commercial Portfolio Only) – Immediate

Job Description

Manage interior design projects from conceptual development and spatial planning through to detailed construction documentation and project closeout.

Produce comprehensive architectural, mechanical, and electrical (M&E), as well as regulatory compliance drawings, for corporate and commercial interior fit-out projects.

Develop detailed Bills of Quantities (BoQ) for commercial and corporate interior works; proficiency in PlanSwift or equivalent quantity take-off software is an advantage.

Compile and submit all necessary technical drawings and documentation required for building management and regulatory approvals.

We are looking to hire CAD drafters and quantity surveyors with relevant experience in interior design for corporate and commercial spaces.

This is a full-time, home-based position. You will work remotely while collaborating with a team based in different countries. You must have a dedicated and conducive workspace, as well as your own PC or laptop equipped with the necessary software.

Fluency in English—both spoken and written—is essential, as you will be preparing documents and communicating with a diverse, multilingual team and clients.

Responsibilities for Corporate (Offices) and Commercial Spaces

Produce high-quality renderings, isometric views, detailed construction drawings, and all required documentation for compliance and client submissions.

Demonstrate strong technical understanding of plans, spatial layouts, and joinery details; preference will be given to candidates experienced in preparing M&E, data, security, and related technical drawings for corporate and commercial interior design projects.

Collaborate effectively with project stakeholders, including design consultants, contractors, carpenters, electricians, and other appointed interior fit-out specialists.

Stay informed and compliant with industry developments, emerging trends, and established best practices in interior architecture and construction.

Possess sound knowledge of local government and statutory regulations relevant to interior design in corporate (office) and commercial environments.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of proven professional experience in interior design for corporate (office) and commercial spaces.

Strong expertise in spatial planning, colour theory, lighting design, materials selection, custom furniture, and full installation processes. Knowledge of construction methodologies is an added advantage.

Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Illustrator, and other relevant tools. Candidates with demonstrated experience in REVIT and 3ds Max will be given preference and may be considered for higher remuneration.

Demonstrated creative ability, strong design sensibility, and a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.

Excellent communication, visualization, and presentation skills.

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a closely related field.

Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential, including the ability to prepare professional documentation and communicate effectively with a diverse, multilingual team.

Comprehensive understanding of design detailing and construction methods applicable to interior fit-outs.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to meeting tight project deadlines.
