Civil Structural and Technical CAD Drafter
who will work on in Manila, Philippines.

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years Civil/Structural drafting experience preferably in renewable energy, Solar PV, and/or BESS projects.
  • Experienced in civil & infrastructure design & detailing
  • Experienced in formwork & rebar detailing & bending schedules preparation as IFC detailing
  • Experience in preparation of As-built Drawings
  • Experienced in foundation and upper structure detailing & executing detailed BOQ calculations based on design inputs from engineering team (as IFC detailing)
  • Well experienced on Autocad 2D & Civil 3D usage
  • Well experienced on Tekla Structures usage (both for steel frame modelling and connection design detailing)
  • Well experienced on earthworks (cut & fill) design & detailing based on different scenarios defined by engineering design team
  • Well experienced on road design, drainage system design & detailing (Able to create road longitudinal and section profiles, cut & filling sections, drainage plan & details preparation as IFC detailing)
  • Be familiar to work in multi-discipline projects
  • Medium level of English

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Prepare civil and structural drawings, plans, sections, and details, including 2D and 3D CAD designs for foundations, road layouts, drainage systems, buildings, and utilities, based on engineering design, using AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant design software
  • Develop 2D and 3D models for structural elements (e.g., foundations, columns, beams, slabs, retaining walls).
  • Convert engineering sketches, specifications, and conceptual drawings into precise design drawings
  • Ensure that drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and company procedures.
  • Revise and update existing drawings based on engineer feedback or site modifications.
  • Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other disciplines to resolve design conflicts.
  • Manage drawing files, maintain revision control, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Assist in preparing material take-offs, quantity estimations, and drawing packages for submittals.
  • Support structural design activities and contribute to design optimization and constructability.
  • Coordinate with design lead and other technical staff to ensure that designs meet project goals and deadlines
  • Ensure that all civil and structural design drawings are up to date and reflect the most current design revisions and amendments
  • Assist in coordination of the design process and ensure timely delivery of drawings for client review and construction teams.
  • Conduct quality checks of CAD drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Prepares civil and structural drawings (tender design drawings, construction or shop drawings and as-built drawings) as per project requirements and engineering inputs.
