Senior Graphic Designer

Position Summary:

The Senior Graphic Designer
 is in charge of creating infographics, ideas, stories, words, and images into a set of slides and conceptual presentations. The designer has well-informed design viewpoints and creates presentation documents from scratch or from a template under the supervision of an art director. The designer will combine a strong grasp of conceptualizing, communicating, building, and executing client ideas with a dedication to producing accurate presentation material.

Requirements:

The graphic/presentation designer needs to possess:

1. A thorough comprehension of the concepts and methods of graphic design.

2. Must be proficient in a number of Microsoft programs, especially PowerPoint.

3. Experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign in the Adobe Creative Suite will be an added advantage.

4. Communication skills.

5. Capacity to comprehend briefs and respond with ideas.

What the presentation designer will do:

1. Recognize the client brand inside and out and participate in frequent calls with clients to learn about their needs.

2. Describe designs and concepts that are insight-driven both internally and outside.

3. Do research using the client's brief and offer fresh concepts.

4. Produce minimal turnaround documents using PowerPoint.

5. Work with senior designers and art directors to brainstorm and carry out projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Communication (35%)

• Takes briefs with clients or art director to determine the scope of a project; offers on the spot design solutions and recommendations
• Creates mood boards and storyboards that articulate the design direction taken in a way that can be readily followed by the audience

Production (60%)

• Conceptualizes and pushes boundaries of artworks from the client briefs or Suggests message, style, or media that should be used based on the design brief
• Ensures that all corporate brand guidelines are adhered to, and client expectation is achieved
• Estimates the time required to complete the project
• Creates innovative conceptual design solutions ready for presentation to the client
• Provides sufficient orientation to other designers to undertake the work, where appropriate
• Monitors progress of other designers and ensure timely delivery of output for projects that were split
• Coordinates with art director regarding project progress and other concerns
• Incorporates changes recommended by the clients into the final design
• Reviews design for errors, inconsistencies, and other technical specifications before art director/client submission

Admin (5%)

• Organizes and archives work files according to SOP
• Logs time spent for the project in Tachyon
• Attends meetings and briefings with clients and teammates
• Monitors Turnaround time and schedule of projects to meet deadlines and set expectations.

Years of work experience

• At least 4 or more years within the relevant industry

Educational Qualifications/Requirements

• Graduate / University Design Degree holder

Technical Qualifications/Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office particularly 
  PowerPoint
• Software skills, exceptional proficiency in:
• PowerPoint
• Word and Excel
• Illustrator
• Photoshop
• Other CC tools
• Must be amenable to work on a shifting schedule (AM/PM, and GY)
• Must be amenable to work on-site in Makati City
