Job Purpose:

The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of salt and chemical products in compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. This role involves supervising warehouse staff, coordinating logistics activities, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:Operations & Logistics:

  • Supervise all warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching salt and chemical products.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Monitor stock levels and conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
  • Ensure the proper labeling and segregation of chemical and salt products to prevent contamination.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of warehouse operatives to meet productivity and quality targets.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and manage daily staff schedules and shift rotations.
  • Provide training on handling hazardous materials, warehouse procedures, and safety protocols.

Health, Safety & Compliance:

  • Enforce adherence to company health & safety policies, especially when handling and storing chemical products.
  • Ensure all staff use appropriate PPE and that material handling complies with industry regulations (e.g., COSHH, OSHA, HAZMAT).
  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.

Quality & Inventory Control:

  • Ensure that all products are stored and handled according to required specifications and shelf-life parameters.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Work closely with quality assurance teams to resolve issues relating to damaged or contaminated stock.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of goods received and dispatched.
  • Generate daily/weekly reports on warehouse performance and stock status.
  • Use warehouse management systems (WMS) or SAP system to update inventory and manage workflow.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a warehouse supervisory or team lead role, preferably in the chemical or industrial goods sector.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Familiarity with handling and storing hazardous materials and chemicals.
  • Forklift license (not required but an advantage)
  • Experience with WMS or SAP system is a plus.
  • Willing to be assigned ROVING within VISMIN AREA.

  • High attention to detail, especially with safety and quality controls.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance related to hazardous materials.

Working Conditions:

  • Physically demanding role involving lifting, standing, and operating warehouse machinery.
  • Exposure to salt dust, chemical fumes, or cold storage conditions (PPE provided).
  • Shift work may be required (days, nights, weekends).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
