The Kitchen Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing kitchen equipment and appliances to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted food and beverage operations in the area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers, and exhaust systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and extend service life.
  • Monitor and ensure proper calibration, safety, and efficiency of kitchen appliances.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies from the Culinary Department.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
  • Safely operate tools, testing devices, and equipment in compliance with safety standards.
  • Coordinate with chefs, kitchen staff, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Report major issues and recommend repair or replacement solutions to supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or vocational course in Electrical, Mechanical, or Refrigeration Technology.
  • TESDA NC II certification in relevant trade preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in kitchen equipment maintenance, preferably in hotels, resorts, or commercial kitchens.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
  • Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and a team player.
  • Willing to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
