Are you a detail-driven accounting professional with a strong foundation in full-cycle Accounts Payable? We're looking for a Home-Based AP Specialist to join our DCX team and support a U.S.-based client. In this role, you will oversee invoice processing, payment execution, vendor coordination, and AP reporting while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. You'll work closely with management, contribute to finance initiatives, and play a key role in maintaining smooth day-to-day accounting operations.

REQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Accounts Payable Expertise: Solid understanding of accounting regulations, standards, and full-cycle accounts payable processes. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

  • Perform day to day full cycle accounts payable transactions to ensure accurate and timely payment processing.

  • Receive and distribute incoming accounts payable invoices and related documents for approval.

  • Management of pending approved accounts payable

  • Ensure that all processing and reporting deadlines are consistently achieved.

  • Provide support to and take direction from management.

  • Maintain effective, timely and professional communication with employees and management.

  • Other ad-hoc tasks as directed by management including reporting and audit requests.

  • Other duties as assigned by management based on Finance department initiatives and priorities.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.  

  • Experience: 1-2 years of Accounts Payable and/or General Accounting experience, or equivalent. 

  • Language Proficiency: Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills. 

  • Working schedule: Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours.  

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in most Microsoft Office Applications, databases, and accounting software.  

    • An advanced level of computer literacy, including Proficiency in Financial Systems and Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel), is essential.

    • NetSuite experience preferred.

    • In-depth understanding of accounts payable principles, accounting standards, and account reconciliation. 

    • Experience in processing a high volume of AP.

    • High-level numeracy and reconciliation skills, with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.

    • ​Demonstrated ability to prioritize work to meet set deadlines.

    • Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills

    • Ability to analyze and research data and resolve discrepancies

    • Ability to multitask in a deadline driven environment and shift priorities as needed.

    • Ability to seek out information and resolve issues.

    • Comfortable working autonomously but within a team

    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) are a plus but not .

  • Salary Range: PHP 35,000 – 40,000

  • Industry: Environmental Services

  • Job Type: Full-time

  • Work Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (USA)

  • Workdays: Monday through Friday (USA)
