Education & License:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) with a valid PRC License.
  • Additional certifications in AutoCAD Electrical, PLC Programming, Renewable Energy Systems, or Project Management are an advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2–5 years relevant experience in electrical design, installation, operation, or maintenance.
  • Minimum of 2 years professional experience is required for this position.
  • Experience in industrial, commercial, or construction projects preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in electrical system design, load calculation, power distribution, and grounding systems.
  • Familiarity with local electrical codes, safety standards, and preventive maintenance procedures.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, ETAP, or other electrical design software.
  • Strong understanding of control systems, switchgear, transformers, and motor controls.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults and recommend corrective actions.
  • Skilled in preparing electrical plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Knowledge in renewable energy systems (solar PV, etc.) is an advantage.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Capable of working independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and committed to safety and quality standards.
  • Can manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.

Other Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid REE License.
  • Willing to be assigned on-site.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office and other technical tools.

Employment Type:

Employment type arrangements are negotiable based on candidate availability and project requirements.

  • Full-Time:

  • Expected to handle design, supervision, and project implementation on an ongoing basis.

  • May lead teams or coordinate with clients and contractors for large-scale projects.

  • Part-Time:

  • Responsible for providing technical consultation, plan review, and compliance checking.

  • May oversee specific project phases or serve as a technical signatory when needed.
  • Flexible work hours depending on project requirements.
