Job Summary
The Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist will be responsible for managing all regulatory affairs activities to ensure compliance with Philippine regulations for both new product launches and existing product lines. This role involves end-to-end oversight of product registrations, notifications, classifications, regulatory monitoring, risk assessments, and strategic compliance advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage regulatory affairs for the Philippine market to ensure compliance for new product launches and existing product supply — including product registrations, notifications, classifications, regulation monitoring, risk analysis, and advisory support.
- Handle regulatory matters for new market launches, from initiation to implementation — including regulatory research, timeline management, dossier preparation, submission, correspondence with consultants and government authorities, and renewal filings.
- Act as a Regulatory Subject Matter Expert (SME) and adviser to Marketing, Operations, R&D, and QA on formulation, labeling, marketing, customs, and other regulatory concerns.
- Collaborate with HQ Regulatory staff, local teams, external agencies, and consultants to ensure alignment on regulatory strategies and timelines
- Review product labels and marketing materials, recommending compliant yet market-appealing language to optimize claims and marketing opportunities.
- Review country-specific product testing specifications.
- Monitor regulatory updates, conduct impact analyses, and recommend proactive or preventive measures to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
To be a good fit for this opportunity, you should have:
- Licensed Pharmacist registered with the Philippine FDA (required).
- 2–3 years of experience in regulatory affairs for food, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or home chemical products.
- Experience working with the PH FDA or HUHS on food supplement or home chemical registrations is preferred.
- Solid regulatory knowledge and analytical skills in food/dietary supplements, cosmetics, and/or home care chemicals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and external consultants.
- Ability to manage high workloads efficiently, stay organized, and perform well under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills, particularly in creating and maintaining product dossiers and filing systems.
- Strong project management, critical thinking, and cross-functional coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
