What You'll Do:

We are looking for a proactive IT Intern to join our team onsite at our Ortigas Center, Pasig City office. Unlike a traditional development role, this position focuses on hardware maintenance, network reliability, and end-user support. You will play a key role in providing hands-on technical assistance to ensure our teams remain connected and productive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Asset Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets (hardware and software) and assist in the documentation of technical workflows.
  • Hardware & Desktop Support: Assist in setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting laptops, monitors, and peripherals for new hires and existing team members.
  • Network Monitoring: Help monitor office connectivity and assist in troubleshooting issues related to our ISP providers to ensure zero downtime.
  • Software Deployment: Assist in installing and updating essential software, managing license allocations, and ensuring all systems comply with company security policies.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Act as the first point of contact for basic technical issues, including password resets, VPN connectivity, and printer setups.
  • Onboarding Support: Assist HR in the technical onboarding of new employees, ensuring their workstations and accounts are ready on Day 1.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Technical Skills: Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addresses, LAN/WAN, Routers) and proficiency in Windows/Mac OS environments.
  3. Problem-Solving: Strong logical thinking skills to diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
