About the role

Xtreme Works Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our team in Ortigas, Pasig City. As an Accounting Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in bookkeeping and small practice accounting, contributing to the overall financial operations of our dynamic organisation. This is a full-time role, offering the opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist with recording and categorising financial transactions in the accounting system
  2. Prepare and reconcile bank statements and ledgers
  3. Support the preparation of financial reports and statements
  4. Perform data entry and other administrative tasks related to the accounting function
  5. Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and procedures
  6. Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities
  7. Provide support to the accounting team as needed

What we're looking for

  1. Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  3. Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  5. Good communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  7. Familiarity with bookkeeping and small practice accounting principles
