Key Responsibilities of an E-Commerce Staff

  1. Product & Content Management

  2. Upload and update product listings on e-commerce platforms (Shopee, Lazada, Shopify, etc.).

  3. Ensure accurate product descriptions, pricing, images, and inventory details.

  4. Order Processing & Fulfillment

  5. Monitor incoming orders and coordinate with logistics for timely delivery.

  6. Assist in handling returns, exchanges, and order issues.

  7. Customer Service Support

  8. Respond to customer inquiries via chat, email, or platform messaging.

  9. Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.

  10. Sales & Promotion Support

  11. Assist in implementing promotional campaigns, vouchers, and discounts.

  12. Monitor competitor activities and pricing.

  13. Inventory Monitoring

  14. Track stock levels and coordinate with warehouse/supply teams for replenishment.

  15. Avoid stockouts and overselling.

  16. Reporting & Documentation

  17. Prepare daily/weekly sales and order reports.

  18. Monitor store performance metrics such as ratings, reviews, and customer feedback.

  19. Coordination & Admin Tasks

  20. Work closely with marketing and logistics teams.

  21. Support overall e-commerce operations and administrative tasks as needed.
