About the role

Global Moving Resources Corporation is seeking a driven and experienced CPA Senior Accountant to join our team in Makati City, Metro Manila. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing high-quality financial accounting and reporting services to support the strategic objectives of our growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and review complex financial statements, budgets, and other financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights to help drive business decisions
  • Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of improved accounting policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial information and support
  • Mentor and train junior accounting staff to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices

What we're looking for

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 5+ years of progressive experience in financial accounting and reporting
  • Thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a desire to continuously improve processes and contribute to the organisation's success
