Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Proposal and Bid Manager located in Makati. The Proposal and Bid Manager will oversee the preparation and submission of proposals and bids for architecture, urban planning, and engineering projects. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure proposals meet client requirements, analyzing bid specifications, managing project documentation, and adhering to deadlines. The role also involves market research, strategic planning, effective communication with clients, and providing input on pricing strategies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in proposal development, bid management, or procurement for architecture, planning, engineering, or construction firms (local or international)
  • Proven track record in preparing and submitting winning bids
  • Licensed Architect or Environmental Planner (an advantage)
  • Strong knowledge of government and private bids
  • Ability to interpret TORs, RFPs, and bidding documents
  • Skills in financial assessment
  • Excellent coordination with architects, planners, engineers, and consultants
  • Competence in scheduling, document control, version management, and deadline compliance
  • Training in Project Management, Procurement, or Public Bidding Procedures (highly desirable)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
  • Strong ethical standards and compliance with procurement laws
  • Excellent technical writing and editing skills for professional proposals
