Key Responsibilities

  1. Demand Planning

  2. Lead the demand planning process across short-shelf-life (pasteurized) and long-shelf-life (UHT, other dairy) products.

  3. Prepare weekly forecasts for pasteurized SKUs and monthly forecasts for longer shelf-life products.
  4. Consolidate inputs from Sales, Marketing, and Finance to produce a consensus forecast.
  5. Improve forecast accuracy and bias through analysis and structured action plans.

  6. Highlight risks and opportunities, preparing scenario analyses for decision-making.

  7. Supply Planning

  8. Translate demand forecasts into feasible supply, production, and replenishment plans.

  9. Collaborate with Production Planning on line capacity, production schedules, and freshness constraints.
  10. Coordinate with Procurement to ensure material availability aligns with the production plan.

  11. Work with Logistics and Distribution teams to ensure service levels are met and inventory is deployed optimally.

  12. Inventory Optimization

  13. Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing waste, spoilage, and SLOB.

  14. Monitor stock health, safety stock levels, replenishment triggers, and at-risk items.

  15. Recommend allocation and prioritization strategies during supply constraints.

  16. Leadership of Routine Planning Meetings (S&OP / IBP Governance)

  17. The Supply Chain Planner Lead will define, establish, and lead all planning meetings to ensure alignment across the business.

Demand Review Cadence

  • Weekly Demand Review – Pasteurized Milk: Rapid review for short-shelf-life SKUs, enabling quick adjustments to avoid out-of-stock or spoilage.
  • Monthly Demand Review – UHT & Long Shelf-Life Products: Consolidate forecast inputs and finalize monthly plans.

Supply Review (Monthly)

  • Review production feasibility, capacity, material readiness, and freshness constraints.
  • Highlight supply risks and propose mitigation actions.

Inventory & Deployment Review (Weekly/Biweekly)

  • Assess stock levels, freshness status, regional deployment, and at-risk inventory.
  • Ensure alignment with service level targets while minimizing waste.

Pre-S&OP / S&OP Meeting

  • Integrate demand and supply plans, resolve gaps, and align cross-functional teams.

Management Business Review (MBR)

  • Present consolidated demand & supply plans, risks, and recommendations for executive approval.

Meeting Governance

  • Own meeting cadence, agendas, templates, and KPIs.
  • Ensure outputs are documented, decisions tracked, and follow-ups executed.

  • Drive continuous improvement in S&OP/IBP process, data quality, and decision-making efficiency.

  • Analytics & Process Improvement

  • Develop dashboards and insights for forecast accuracy, service level, production adherence, and inventory health.

  • Lead initiatives to improve forecasting, supply planning, and S&OP maturity.
  • Support ERP and digital tool enhancements for planning efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Statistics, or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or S&OP roles in FMCG, dairy, food, or beverage industries.
  • Strong analytical skills; proficiency in forecasting tools and advanced Excel/Sheets.
  • Experience with ERP systems such and with implementing business analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
