Assistant Treasury Manager

Job Summary:
The Assistant Treasury Manager supports the Treasury Manager in overseeing the company's treasury operations, including cash flow management, banking relationships, liquidity planning, and financial risk mitigation. This role ensures the company has adequate liquidity to meet its obligations, while maintaining compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily cash management activities, including cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, and short-term investments.
- Monitor and report on company cash flow, ensuring accurate and timely forecasting.
- Assist in managing bank relationships and maintaining banking platforms and services.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly treasury reports for internal stakeholders.
- Assist in managing debt facilities, loan agreements, and compliance with covenants.
- Oversee the execution of electronic fund transfers, wire payments, and FX transactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Accounting, Finance, and Tax to ensure proper cash flow alignment and financial reporting.
- Support implementation and maintenance of treasury systems and automation initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, treasury policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in evaluating and managing financial risks, including interest rate and currency exposures.
- Participate in treasury-related audits and prepare required documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or banking; prior experience in a supervisory or analyst role preferred.
- Professional certification such as CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) or progress toward it is a plus.
- Solid understanding of cash management, treasury operations, and banking procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Treasury Management Systems (TMS).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
