As
Advisory Consultant for Finance and IT

, you will provide strategic and operational assistance to ensure that the organization's Finance and IT functions are aligned with institutional goals, compliant with relevant regulations, and optimized for efficiency. You will play a dual role—offering high-level input while remaining actively involved in strengthening internal systems, improving performance monitoring, streamlining communication, and supporting compliance efforts.

Responsibilities

Strategic Oversight and Alignment

  • Drive strategic planning for Finance and IT units in line with organizational goals.
  • Shape and implement a long-term operational roadmap for both areas.

Systems and Process Development

  • Standardize processes, workflows, and protocols to improve unit efficiency.
  • Introduce monitoring tools to ensure accountability and timely output delivery.

Performance Management & Team Coordination

  • Create systems to track team performance and identify bottlenecks.
  • Strengthen collaboration and task alignment, especially for newly onboarded staff.

Compliance & Audit Readiness

  • Oversee audit preparation and documentation to ensure timely submissions.
  • Recommend enhancements to internal controls to maintain regulatory compliance.

Leadership Support & Oversight

  • Guide team leads in defining roles, responsibilities, and daily routines.
  • Assist in supervising staff and supporting professional development.

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Establish internal communication protocols for clear, consistent information flow.
  • Liaise with HR and other departments to ensure alignment and issue escalation.

Reporting & Advisory

  • Provide regular updates to the CEO on unit performance.
  • Attend monthly Management Committee meetings to advise on finance- and IT-related matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance or financial management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Solid knowledge of financial systems, budgeting, internal controls, compliance, and audit processes
  • Experience in process improvement, financial reporting, and performance monitoring
  • Familiarity with IT systems as they relate to finance operations (e.g., financial software, data security, and reporting tools)
  • Proven ability to lead teams, coordinate cross-functional projects, and enhance operational efficiency
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing strategic oversight with day-to-day operational support
  • Experience working in non-profit, advocacy, or governance-related organizations is a plus
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid setup with remote and in-person collaboration

Compensation & Benefits

  • PHP 71,000 to 82,000/ month
