Responsibilities:

  • Verifies/ Validates waste water treatment facility activities (i.e. facility conditions, daily monitoring, housekeeping, operator's activity, etc.)

  • Implements monthly sampling of waste water in three (3) plants.

  • Submits quarterly reports to DENR/LLDA (SMR), as part of compliance to government requirements.

  • Develops programs in identifying and removal of hazards and correcting unsafe work practices and activate it.

  • Conducts separate investigations and prepares separate report/findings pertaining to accidents that transpired in plants. (i.e. attachment in DOLE-BWC).

  • Prepares written report with recommendation pertaining the evaluation result of product studied.

  • Provides review, in-depth analysis and recommendations in the department's current processes, policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety management, preferably in plant operations or related industrial settings.

  • Certification in relevant EHS disciplines is advantageous.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS management software.

  • Strong understanding of local and national EHS regulations, including OSHA, and relevant industry standards.

  • Leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
