Role Overview:

We are seeking a resourceful, proactive, and solutions-oriented Benefits Specialist to join our People & Culture (P&C) team in Manila. This standalone role will serve as the primary point of contact for benefits administration across our global locations (currently spanning 8+ countries), with a particular focus on U.S. and UK benefits compliance and employee support.

You will thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment where building from scratch is part of the job. You will play a key role in shaping our global benefits infrastructure by creating, optimizing, and documenting scalable benefits processes that support operational excellence and employee satisfaction You enjoys collaborating with external vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver seamless, employee-centered benefits experiences across global teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Compliance:
    Ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable benefits-related legislation, including U.S. laws (e.g., ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA) and country-specific regulations. Monitor legal and regulatory updates, maintain audit-ready documentation, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure adherence.
  • Global Benefits Administration:
    Own and coordinate the administration of employee benefits across all locations, working closely with regional P&C, vendors, and brokers to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant program delivery.
  • Process & Policy Development:
    Lead the development and documentation of benefits-related workflows, SOPs, and internal policies for a scalable, consistent, and compliant global benefits function. Proactively identify and resolve process gaps to improve operational efficiency and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Employee Support:
    Serve as the go-to resource for employee and internal team inquiries related to benefits. Provide accurate, empathetic, and timely support across all regions and time zones.
  • Vendor Management:
    Manage relationships with benefits brokers, insurers, and third-party administrators. Coordinate renewals, resolve escalations, and ensure vendors meet agreed service levels.
  • Communication:
    Create and maintain clear, engaging employee communication materials to help team members better understand and utilize their benefits.
  • Project & Program Support:
    Lead and support key benefits projects such as annual open enrollment, new country launches, benefits harmonization, and other initiatives that enhance the employee experience and our total rewards offering.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in U.S. benefits administration, with demonstrated expertise in compliance, vendor coordination, and employee support.
  • Solid understanding of global benefits administration processes, with a track record of identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience using benefits platforms such as PlanSource and HiBob; prior experience working in a global organization is a strong advantage.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
