The Logistics Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing all logistics operations, including transportation, distribution, and supplier coordination. This role develops and enforces logistics strategies, policies, and procedures that drive efficiency, cost control, and service excellence. The Logistics Manager also supervises and mentors the logistics team while collaborating with internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless operations.

This is a night shift position with a schedule of 9am EST - 6pm EST.Experience with and ability to work night shift is required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


• Plan, manage, and evaluate logistics operations while liaising with internal teams, suppliers, logistics providers, and customers.


• Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and processes to enhance operational and financial performance.


• Monitor and analyze key metrics including quality, delivery times, transportation costs, and service performance.


• Negotiate contracts, rates, and service terms with carriers and logistics providers.


• Recommend optimal transport modes, routes, and schedules to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries.


• Ensure compliance with company policies and external regulations for product transit and delivery.


• Identify and resolve logistics, import/export, and customer-related issues.


• Assess potential logistics setups for new facilities and recommend process and cost improvements.


• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce inefficiencies and drive cost optimization.


• Analyze and interpret logistics data to support decision-making and improve customer service.


• Prepare and maintain reports, performance dashboards, and process documentation.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).


• Minimum of 5-7 years of logistics management or related experience.


• Proven ability to manage logistics operations efficiently and effectively.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.


• Working knowledge of logistics and inventory management systems.


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.


• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and foster collaboration.


• High attention to detail, integrity, and reliability.


• Ability and willingness to work the night shift (9 AM – 6 PM EST).
