We are currently expanding our capabilities through a newly established Data Governance consulting practice, aimed at delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Data Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This fully remote position offers the unique opportunity to be a part of a dynamic, startup-like consulting practice, playing a crucial role in our clients' AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable ETL pipelines on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Develop and manage robust data warehouses using Big Query, Redshift, Athena, or Azure Data Lake.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret requirements, and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Ensure optimal data quality and integrity.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and propose improvements to existing systems.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in data engineering.
  • Proven expertise in building ETL pipelines on major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Experience with data warehouse technologies (Big Query, Redshift, Athena, Azure Data Lake).
  • Familiarity with Spark is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
