We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to help our organization make data-driven decisions. You will work closely with various departments to identify trends, provide insights, and support strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Data Collection and Processing:
    • Collect and organize data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy and completeness.
    • Clean and preprocess data to prepare it for analysis.
  • Data Analysis:
    • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
    • Develop and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards using tools like SQL, Excel, and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Reporting and Visualization:
    • Present data findings in a clear and concise manner through visualizations and reports.
    • Create and distribute regular and ad-hoc reports to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
    • Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data integrity and consistency.
  • Insights and Recommendations:
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support business decisions.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimizations using data.
  • Documentation and Communication:
    • Document data analysis processes and methodologies.
    • Communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders in an understandable manner.

Requirements

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
    • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data.
    • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, vlookups, and data visualization.
    • Familiarity with statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
    • Experience with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to analyze large datasets and draw meaningful insights.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
  • Experience in a specific industry (e.g., finance, healthcare, retail).
