Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the test engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans that align with project requirements and organizational goals.
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of automated test frameworks and scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Manage the defect management process, ensuring timely identification, tracking, and resolution of issues.
  • Direct and coordinate integration testing to verify seamless interaction between system components.
  • Supervise regression & performance testing to evaluate application stability, scalability, and responsiveness under various conditions.
  • Implement and manage security testing practices to safeguard applications against vulnerabilities and compliance issues.
  • Oversee database testing to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure that testing aligns with business objectives.
  • Monitor testing progress, generate reports, and present findings to stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with more than 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Understanding of Core Banking System is a mandatory requirement.
  • Strong background in developing and executing test strategies and plans.
  • Expertise in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
  • Experience with defect management and tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of integration, performance, security, and database testing.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database management for effective data validation.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
